Cloud Computing is at the present a topic of considerable impact and, while it may represent an evolution in technology terms, it is revolutionizing the customs in which both academic world and industry are thinking and acting. The Journal of Cloud Computing, Advances, Systems and Applications has been commenced to offer a high quality journal geared entirely towards the research that will put forward future generations of Clouds. The journal publishes research that addresses the entire Cloud stack, and as recounts Clouds to wider paradigms and topics.
Cloud computing refers to computing with a team of virtualized computer devices. A cloud can host diverse workloads, permits workloads to be deployed/scaled-out on-demand by speedy provisioning of virtual or physical technology, supports redundant, self-recovering, highly-scalable programming models and permits workloads to recover from hardware/software failures and rebalance allocations. The idea is to move desktop computing to a service-oriented platform using server clusters and huge databases at data centres. IJCC addresses innovative developments, research issues/solutions in cloud computing and related technologies.
The International Journal of Cloud Applications and Computing (IJCAC) is a peer reviewed publication that focuses on practical applications and the theoretical foundations of cloud computing. This is achieved through the presentation of the most up-to-date advances and new directions of research in the field from various scholarly, professional, and practitioner perspectives. Through an interdisciplinary look at cloud computing, including engineering and business aspects, IJCAC covers and encourages high-quality research exposition on topics such as virtualization technology, utility computing, SaaS, and grid computing, as well as Web services, SOA, Web 2.0, and services computing.
The main mission of the International Journal of Cloud Applications and Computing (IJCAC)
is to be the resource for the most innovative scholarly and professional
research and information pertaining to aspects of Cloud Applications and
Computing. IJCAC presents advancements in the state-of-the-art, standards, and
practices of Cloud Computing, in an effort to identify emerging trends that
will ultimately define the future of “the Cloud.” Topics such as Cloud
Infrastructure Services, Cloud Platform Services, Cloud Application Services
(SaaS), Cloud Business Services, Cloud Human Services are discussed through
original papers, review papers, technical reports, case studies, and conference
reports for reference use by acade International Journal of Cloud Computing and
Services Science (IJ-CLOSER) focuses to publish the
emerging area of cloud computing, inspired by some latest advances that
concern the infrastructure, operations, available services through the
global network, and a new wave of interest in “externalization
of IT” anything as a service (including software as a service,
infrastructure as a service, platform as a service), on demand delivery, outsourcing,
and so on. The IJ-CLOSER considers as essential the link to services
science, acknowledging the service-orientation in most current IT-driven
collaborations, and how the cloud computing in services science can
provide theory, methods and techniques to design, analyze, manage, market
etc. Its scope includes (but not limited) to the following:
(1) Fundamentals of cloud computing
(2) Cloud computing enabling technology
(3) Cloud computing platforms and applications
(4) Services science foundations for cloud computing mics and practitioners alike.
